Senior Software Engineer, Battlespace Awareness

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Battlespace Awareness team, you will:

• Contribute to the team's direction with your expertise and ideas
• Prototype state-of-the-art software solutions in an agile development environment
• Implement high-performance software for tactical systems and web applications
• Use high-fidelity modeling and simulation environments, analysis tools, and techniques to quantify technology benefits
• Engage with customers to ensure successful mission-critical outcomes
• Work across the software development lifecycle
• Communicate your work and decisions to colleagues and customers

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred)
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Matlab
• Experience with big data, NoSQL, and database technologies
• Software engineering skills, including design, algorithm implementation, analysis, testing, and optimization
• Machine learning knowledge, including supervised and unsupervised learning, clustering, and classification
• Applied mathematics skills, including differential equations, linear algebra, optimization, statistics, and random processes
• Engineering expertise in controls, estimation theory, and digital signal processing
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance
