Ford Racing Additive Engineer

Ford Racing is seeking an Additive Engineer to join our team. As a Racing Additive Engineer, you will play a critical role in identifying areas where Additive Manufacturing can help Ford Racing develop efficient, cutting-edge, and exciting products.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Ford Racing internally-led projects, working with Design and Release engineers to integrate Additive Manufacturing into in-flight programs and upcoming vehicle development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate design iterations, avoid capital spend, and guide products through execution and industrialization.
• Represent Ford Racing in externally-led projects, coordinating with program teams and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Travel to supplier or partner visits for benchmarking and other optional activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Deep practical experience in Additive Manufacturing, including design for AM, build setup, build execution, and quality confirmation.
• Experience with Design and Release processes for automotive components and a basic understanding of the product development process.
• Self-starter with high motivation for success and a passion for winning.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to make decisions based on overall value analysis.

Salary

• Salary grade 7: $86,600 - $144,900 per year.
• Salary grade 8: $99,100 - $166,200 per year.
