Description
As a Customer and Trading Manager at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd, you will be responsible for leading a small team of managers to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
Your main duties will include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the store, often being the only manager present
- Working closely with the team to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- Managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries, and ensuring accurate scheduling and pay
- Collaborating with nearby stores when needed
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Previous line management experience in a fast-paced environment
- A track record of delivering excellent customer service and coaching colleagues
- Ability to meet KPIs and manage employee relations issues
- Operational leadership skills, with experience working independently
The salary for this position ranges from £31,700, dependent on experience, store size, complexity, and location.
