Description
As a F&B Management Intern at Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam, you will be part of a team that offers five-star luxury in a unique and historic setting.
You will work closely with the F&B manager to ensure that all F&B outlets in the hotel run smoothly. During this internship, you will be introduced to various aspects of the F&B departments, such as administration, marketing, planning, and complaint handling. You will be responsible for managing our online reservation systems and corresponding correspondence. You will work closely with different departments and their managers. You will be involved in organizing events and executing various promotional activities. Together with the F&B office team, you will provide operational support to the teams of the fine dining restaurant Bridges, Garden Bistro Oriole, and the banqueting department.
The internship allowance is €600 gross per month based on a 38-hour workweek. In addition, you may be eligible for a travel allowance. Qualifications:
- You are following an MBO 4 or bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management
- You master both written and spoken Dutch and English at a business level
- You have a great interest in the world of luxury hotels and a passion for F&B
