Floor Lead (Retail) (Part-time)

Mejuri is seeking a Floor Lead to join their store team on M Street in Washington D.C.

As a Floor Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the store by upholding exceptional customer service standards, fostering team development, and ensuring seamless execution of daily operations.

Customer

• Lead by example and validate the quality of the in-store customer experience
• Maximize results and achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Ensure positive customer experience and promotion of services offerings
• Monitor and achieve KPIs such as OPH and NPS

Operations

• Participate in inventory and cycle counts
• Support back of house flow to ensure efficient order fulfillment
• Maintain organizational integrity of the store
• Use point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and other retail technology
• Mitigate internal, external, and administrative loss of product
• Identify and escalate opportunities, gaps, risks, and roadblocks

Merchandising

• Participate in maintaining Mejuri's brand standards of visual presentation, cleanliness, and functionality
• Support validation of display forms, graphics, furniture, and decor items
• Coach and inform store team members on updates to Visual Merchandising standard practices

People

• Participate in onboarding new talent
• Validate regular and accurate assessment of team members against performance review criteria and KPIs
• Build healthy relationships with team members and establish a positive work environment
• Adhere to and validate policies and compliance practices

Requirements

• Experience in a high-volume retail environment
• Adaptable with excellent organization and analytical skills
• Critical thinking ability to identify potential challenges and develop action plans
• Ability to stand for 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary

• Base pay range: $22 - $25 per hour
