Senior Manager, Card Risk: Vertical Risk Manager

As a Senior Risk Manager on Capital One's Card Risk Team, you will apply your risk management, project management, and analytical skills to high-profile risk initiatives, working closely with business partners to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement risk management practices with business teams and stakeholders
• Lead risk framework discussions and drive creative solutions to improve the risk profile
• Participate in risk forums and business reporting routines
• Lead ad-hoc projects to improve processes or control environment
• Synthesize data and reporting to provide proactive business insights
• Drive and deliver results and improvements in line with the business' risk agenda
• Stay up-to-date with the changing regulatory environment
• Collaborate effectively across multiple levels and organisations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
• At least 5 years of experience working in risk management or financial services
• At least 4 years of program management experience
• At least 4 years of experience supporting internal business clients

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree
• 6+ years of Project Management experience
• 6+ years of financial services risk management experience
• 3+ years of experience in Agile or design thinking
• Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
