Description
Sodexo is seeking experienced Hospitality & Cleaning All Rounders (Service Attendants) to join our regional Queensland operations. You'll provide quality meals and housekeeping services in a busy village environment, helping to keep mining communities running safely and efficiently.
The Role:
- Clean and maintain accommodation rooms (up to 30 rooms a day)
- Clean and maintain mine-site offices, outdoor areas, and common areas
- Support kitchen and dining room operations, including basic food handling and preparation
- Provide friendly customer service in the onsite tavern or retail shop
- Prepare food and maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
These are FIFO roles from Brisbane on a 14:7 roster, working 11-hour days. Casual opportunities are available with the potential for permanent placement for high-performing employees.
About You:
- Must have Australian Drivers Licence
- Physically fit and able to work long shifts (up to 11 hours)
- FIFO, DIDO or remote site experience desirable but not essential
- Able to work well in a team and independently
- Able to work in remote environments and varying weather conditions
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
- Full Australian working rights
