Description

Electronic Arts is seeking a Content Designer to work on EA SPORTS College Football. The designer will report to the team Producer and Development Director, maintaining and balancing the game's core and meta-game while creating live service ideas and features.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the game vision set by the Creative Director and Product Owner
  • Maintain all design aspects of a game-as-service throughout its life cycle
  • Create engaging designs and prototypes while upholding EA SPORTS' high standards of quality
  • Balance gameplay for fun, player acquisition, monetization, and engagement
  • Preserve the original IP's core brand values and game experience
  • Inspire the game team through progressive, creative design
  • Provide and receive constructive critiques with suggestions for improvement
  • Stay current with industry trends, new game genres, design methods, and platforms

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Game Design or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of industry experience in game design or quality assurance
  • Knowledge of the NFL or College Football
  • Experience creating and implementing game concepts using various tools
  • Familiarity with sports gaming
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Live Service mechanics, theories, and implementation
