Principal System Engineer, Operations

NVIDIA is seeking a Principal System Engineer, Operations to join its Engineering team. The successful candidate will contribute to the next era of computing, where GPUs act as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars.

Job Summary: As a Principal System Engineer, Operations, you will provide technical support for L10/L11 rack-level integration for Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs). You will collaborate with ODM partners to optimize rack-level integration processes, debug and resolve technical issues, and provide customer quality support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as primary technical support for L10/L11 rack-level integration for ODMs
• Collaborate with ODM partners to streamline and optimize rack-level integration processes
• Conduct detailed debugging and solve rack-level integration issues
• Address factory issues promptly to improve production line efficiency
• Provide L11 customer quality support
• Work with engineering design teams to ensure seamless integration of changes or corrective actions
• Offer direct feedback into the manufacturing process for continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Proficient in identifying and resolving challenges effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• Extensive experience (15+ years) in systems engineering, preferably within the data center or semiconductor industry
• Strong understanding of rack-level systems integration processes and technologies
• Proven track record of debugging technical issues and implementing effective solutions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams and external partners
• Experience in customer support or quality assurance is a plus
• Proficiency in networking topologies, setup, and testing high-speed networks
• Capability to travel onsite to various ODM locations
