Technical Architect

About the role

Technical Architects help customers get real work done with Claude Code, Claude Tag, and enterprise admin controls. You will teach customers, partners, and Anthropic's own field teams how to use these tools.

Responsibilities

• Teach in various formats, including public webinars, workshops, and office hours
• Train the trainers who will carry the knowledge to others
• Empower admins with technical requirements for a strong rollout
• Build fast with Claude and explore new features
• Bring field signal back to the product team
• Be the technical voice in the room with account executives and customer success managers
• Travel 30-50% for onsite meetings, workshops, and events

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, or similar
• Current engineering range with experience shipping code and teaching engineering audiences
• Big-stage presence with experience holding large live audiences
• Range in one conversation, from banter to rigorous design discussions
• Care for people and a willingness to help struggling customers
• Initiative and steadiness when priorities shift and timelines are short
• Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving industry and product suite
• A stake in safe AI and a desire to help large organizations deploy AI responsibly

Preferred Qualifications

• Depth in enterprise identity and security review
• Experience running Claude on Amazon Bedrock or Google Cloud Vertex AI
• Time with regulated industries or systems-integrator partners
• A public record of technical teaching
• An interest outside technology

Logistics

• Annual salary: $250,000 - $365,000 USD
