We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Device Research & Early Development Engineer in Indianola, PA. In this role, you will work in a laboratory setting to design and perform experiments, evaluate technologies, and manage lab assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop test methods and protocols for medical device evaluation
  • Design and develop test fixtures, electromechanical prototypes, and simulated anatomical models
  • Setup and execute experimental tests, perform data analysis, and prepare technical reports and presentations
  • Coordinate experiments with cross-functional teams and manage laboratory assets
  • Contribute to deliverables for fielded products and products under development

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD degree
  • Knowledge of engineering and scientific concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with test fixture development
  • Previous lab or medical device experience
  • Experience with data analysis in Python
  • Experience with hardware design or rapid prototyping
  • Experience with electrical design and development of custom sensors or measurement equipment

Salary: $86,320.00 to $129,480.00 per year, with additional compensation and benefits
