Descriptive Video Works (DVW), part of Keywords Studios, is seeking experienced Freelance Sign Language Talents based in the US to join their growing team. As a recognised leader in Audio Description (AD) in North America, DVW offers freelance opportunities with potential for full-time work in the future.
The ideal candidates will be native speakers of various sign languages, including ASL, BSL, ISL (International), LIBRAS, LSF, DGS, AUSLAN, LSM, SASL, and ISL (Indian). They should be based in the US, preferably within commuting distance to New York City or Los Angeles, as travel to NYC-based or LA-based studios may be required.
Responsibilities and requirements include:
- Being a native speaker of one of the specified sign languages
- Having experience in TV/Film production roles such as Performers, Directors, Camera Operators, Editors, Quality Control, Project Management, and Casting
- Ability to travel to studios in NYC or LA as needed
