Field Service Technieker – Power Generatoren (Datacenters)

We are seeking a Datacenter Field Service Technician to join our team specializing in Service for General Overhead & Operations Power Generators in Dordrecht, Netherlands.

As a Field Service Technician, you will travel approximately 90% of the time to visit customer datacenters for maintenance and repairs.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of customer needs.
• Conduct on-site diagnostics and repairs to maintain uptime and reliability of critical motor systems.
• Ensure safety and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Perform planned maintenance to prevent failures and extend equipment lifespan, reducing customer costs.
• Collaborate with other datacenter and motor service teams, sharing knowledge and supporting broader operational goals.
• Document service activities accurately and timely, ensuring transparency, traceability, and continuous improvement.
• Identify additional service opportunities, adding value to the customer relationship.
• Participate in on-call support, providing critical assistance when needed.

Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge, including understanding of motor systems and effective use of diagnostic tools.
• Proficiency in documentation, maintaining accurate records in English.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel, stay overnight, and adapt to changing site conditions.
• Safety awareness and cooperative attitude, thriving in a dynamic team environment.
• Diploma in electromechanics, electrical engineering, energy technology, or equivalent through experience.
• Knowledge of generators, diesel engines, and electrical installations.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a service technician or maintenance technician.
• Experience with emergency generators and backup power systems.
• Punctuality in delivering updated documents.
• Good Dutch language skills and proficiency in English for generating reports.

This role involves extensive travel within the Benelux region for on-site maintenance and repairs at various datacenters.

• Min Salary: €44,400
• Max Salary: €66,600
