The Co-curricular Programs Team of the Dean of Students' Office at HKUST is seeking an Assistant Manager to design, plan, and implement student development programs and outreach initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, planning, and implementing student development programs and outreach initiatives;
  • Managing daily operations of cross-team projects, tracking progress, handling budgets and financial matters, and liaising with internal and external parties;
  • Providing guidance and advising support to students in their projects to facilitate their learning and personal development;
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned, potentially requiring work outside normal office hours.

The requirements for this role include:

  • A Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience;
  • A proven track record of planning, coordinating, and managing student development programs;
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to student development, higher education, or youth empowerment contexts;
  • Proactivity and a growth mindset;
  • Strong teamwork and adaptability skills;
  • Hands-on experience in multi-media production is an advantage.

The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, with fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, and a gratuity payable upon successful completion of the contract.
