Senior VFX Artist

We are seeking a Senior VFX Artist to join our team on the Plague project. As a Senior VFX Artist, you will play a central role in defining the visual identity of the project. You will have the freedom to explore, experiment, and propose new approaches, while closely collaborating with the Tech Art and Engine teams.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual research and imagine, improve, prototype, and experiment with innovative FX
• Design solutions that balance artistic ambitions with technical constraints
• Collaborate with Technical Artists and Engine Programmers to find solutions, evolve tools, workflows, and technologies for FX
• Integrate and optimise FX in game levels

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience as a VFX Artist in 3D game production
• Ability to transform artistic intentions into strong visual proposals through research, experimentation, and prototyping
• Good knowledge of FX editors and ability to work directly with them to resolve technical issues
• Mastery of 3D software (ideally 3dsMax)
• Cross-functional skills allowing navigation between multiple tools and technologies such as C++, Python, C#, scripting languages, shaders, Houdini, and Embergen
• Proactive and autonomous work style
• Good team collaboration and communication skills
• Knowledge of real-time rendering constraints and optimisation techniques on consoles

Benefits:

• Salary range: 48k€ to 54k€ per year, depending on experience
