Join Bayer Crop Science as a Quality Health Safety Environmental Intern and gain hands-on experience in promoting safety, sustainability, and compliance. As an intern, you will work with the HSE team to enhance workplace safety, develop environmental practices, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with skilled HSE professionals to improve workplace safety and environmental practices
- Participate in risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and recommend improvements
- Conduct regulatory research and maintain compliance initiatives
- Work with cross-functional departments to promote safety awareness and environmental responsibility
- Assist in preparing HSE documentation, reports, and presentations
- Support the implementation of Operational Excellence and site-wide safety improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Completed at least your sophomore year with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to commute daily to the Kansas City, MO site and available for the internship period (May 17 – August 6, 2027)
- Willingness to climb stairs and ladders and work in a dynamic chemical plant environment
