CNC Machinist

Multimatic Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality prototypes in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Saw-cutting and squaring up various metals
• Operating manual milling machines and manual lathes
• Using hand tools comfortably
• Proficiently setting up milling machine operations
• Understanding basic machine practices, including feeds and speeds
• Programming CNC code from provided CAD data
• Setting up machining tools, offsets, and materials as per program direction
• Running CNC code and verifying finished components
• Collaborating with Design Engineers, Project Leaders, Toolmakers, and Apprentices to develop manufacturable components
• Ensuring customer requirements are met, including project timing, part quality, and delivery
• Considering alternative solutions for tasks or problems
• Maintaining job folders and electronic data
• Attending meetings as required
• Being responsible for all parameters of assigned tasks
• Keeping the shop environment safe, clean, and organized
• Reviewing project direction with Project Leaders
• Keeping supervisors informed of program issues
• Assigning tasks to co-workers as directed
• Providing training, guidance, and assistance to co-workers
• Ensuring adequate communication with other program team members
• Maintaining accurate timesheets
• Following documented quality procedures
• Observing company safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Participating in continuous improvement activities
• Fostering good employee relations

Work Term: January 2027 - December 2027

Total Cash Compensation Range: $17.60 - $25.48
