Field CTO

GitLab is seeking a Field CTO to join its Strategic Field Organization at a Principal Solutions Architect level, based in Australia or Singapore. This role reports to the Global Head, Field CTOs, and involves collaborating with global strategic prospects and customers, providing executive-level thought leadership, and driving solution strategy.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain relationships with customer executives contributing to large Net ARR deals and customer success
• Provide executive-level thought leadership on strategic opportunities
• Curate and manage field feedback, collaborating with the product team on roadmap and issue prioritization
• Scale and grow regional-level expertise within the field
• Act as a prospect/customer advocate on DevSecOps transformation initiatives
• Build and maintain select subject matter expertise related to GitLab-targeted technology sectors
• Keep up to date on GitLab-relevant emerging methodologies and technologies

Requirements

• Significant experience as a CTO/Principal Solution Architect with architecture of enterprise software development workflow
• Experience delivering information/Cyber Security and compliance-related solutions and assessments
• Experience with software development tools, practices, and methodologies
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Ability and willingness to learn and use GitLab as an integral part of the role
• Ability to travel and comply with the company’s travel policy
