Description
WSP is seeking a full-time Senior Mineral Processing Engineer for their Lakewood, CO office.
The successful candidate will lead development of process engineering deliverable documents for mineral processing plants recovering various commodities such as copper, gold, silver, diamonds, potash, REE, critical and other industrial minerals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering tasks and develop technical skills
- Conduct project research and preliminary design calculations
- Support preparation of final design plans and cost estimates
- Collect and maintain project documentation
- Exercise responsible decision-making and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, or Mineral Process Engineering
- 7-10+ years of process engineering experience on mining, mineral processing, or metallurgical capital projects
- Familiarity with HAZOP and process safety review methodologies
- Experience working within an EPCM project
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) or FE Certification
- Experience with process simulation and modeling tools
- Hands-on experience developing and reviewing PFDs, P&IDs, and process datasheets

Compensation:
- Expected salary: $86,100 - $128,500 per year
