Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Design Validation Engineer in Taipei for board/system power qualification and function testing. The engineer will work on NVIDIA Data Center platforms, Graphics boards, ARM-based platforms, and Autonomous Driving Platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct server, motherboard, and mobile system functionality tests.
  • Measure and verify clock, sequence, and GPIO signal.
  • Perform WAT (wide area test) function tests.
  • Run gaming tests.
  • Conduct high and low-speed interface SI tests.
  • Collaborate with hardware design engineers on debug and failure analysis.
  • Work with mechanical and thermal engineers on cooler and heatsink design.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Proficiency with Linux systems and GPU setup.
  • Ability to write simple shell scripts and analyze test results using commands.
  • Familiarity with PC and datacenter system hardware assembly, MB BIOS upgrade, and network troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in a programming language (C/C++, Python, Java, or Perl).
  • Understanding of UEFI boot OS startup process and out-of-band (OOB) management using BMC, ipmitool, and redfish.
  • Good English communication skills.
