Description
NVIDIA is seeking a Design Validation Engineer in Taipei for board/system power qualification and function testing. The engineer will work on NVIDIA Data Center platforms, Graphics boards, ARM-based platforms, and Autonomous Driving Platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct server, motherboard, and mobile system functionality tests.
- Measure and verify clock, sequence, and GPIO signal.
- Perform WAT (wide area test) function tests.
- Run gaming tests.
- Conduct high and low-speed interface SI tests.
- Collaborate with hardware design engineers on debug and failure analysis.
- Work with mechanical and thermal engineers on cooler and heatsink design.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Proficiency with Linux systems and GPU setup.
- Ability to write simple shell scripts and analyze test results using commands.
- Familiarity with PC and datacenter system hardware assembly, MB BIOS upgrade, and network troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in a programming language (C/C++, Python, Java, or Perl).
- Understanding of UEFI boot OS startup process and out-of-band (OOB) management using BMC, ipmitool, and redfish.
- Good English communication skills.
