Casual Trading Assistant

We are seeking a proactive Casual Trading Assistant to join our trading team in Slimbridge. You will provide exceptional customer service, maximise sales and membership recruitment, and contribute to the delivery of agreed targets. The role involves working mainly in our retail shop area, serving members and non-member visitors, maintaining stock levels, and assisting with optics sales. Full optics training will be provided.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing a warm and informative welcome to visitors
• Maximising sales and membership recruitment
• Maintaining the shop area and offering assistance with optics sales
• Working across visitor services and catering departments as needed

Requirements:

• Experience of working in a team
• Confidence using an EPOS till system
• Visual merchandising skills
• Exceptional customer service skills

This is a casual position with ad hoc hours, including weekends, bank holidays, and school holidays.
