As a Software Engineer on the UI Engine team, you will contribute to the development and optimization of core UI systems that power Battlefield.
Working closely with senior engineers and cross-discipline partners, you will implement scalable solutions, improve runtime performance, and help strengthen the robustness of our UI platform. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys systems-level challenges, performance work, and collaborating across technical domains.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain engine-level UI systems and features.
- Analyze and improve CPU and memory performance in collaboration with senior engineers.
- Contribute to system refactoring and modernization efforts.
- Work with central tech and performance teams to validate and improve system behavior.
- Support debugging, profiling, and optimization efforts across the UI stack.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong C++ skills and experience working in large codebases.
- Experience working with engine systems or central technology.
- Practical experience with CPU and memory profiling in real-time applications.
- Ability to work independently on well-scoped implementation tasks.
