Description
We are seeking a skilled Pelvic Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team at Atrium Health Physical Therapy Huntersville/Lake Norman. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating patients with pelvic health issues.
Job Summary: As a Pelvic Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Your goal will be to help patients achieve optimal function and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans tailored to their needs
- Administer assessment techniques, select modalities, and provide therapeutic interventions
- Establish functional goals with patients and track progress
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Supervise physical therapist assistants and rehab technicians as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift patients, equipment, or supplies up to 50 pounds
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking required
- Occasional climbing stairs, kneeling, twisting, bending, crouching, crawling, and reaching overhead
- Ability to demonstrate exercises and activities to patients and caregivers
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
- Applicable state license for Physical Therapy required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
