Assistant Content Designer - EA SPORTS™ NHL

We are seeking an Assistant Content Designer to join the EA SPORTS NHL team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As an Assistant Content Designer, you will work closely with the production and design team to identify and create live content that EA Sports customers desire. Your knowledge of hockey and passion for the sport are essential, along with a keen eye for product quality and usability, and a drive for AAA game development.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the NHL Live Team to develop and execute the live content plan.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of live content, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Translate real-world events into live content ideas and plans, often at short notice, requiring flexible work hours to align with real-world hockey events.
• Define goals and opportunities for live content based on Key Performance Indicators.
• Work with NHL producers to understand targets and priority changes.
• Communicate progress and quality effectively with the NHL team.
• Foster game-wide relationships and strong engagement with other groups, such as Marketing and QA.
• Coordinate deliverables and manage dependencies across teams.
• Contribute to team morale and encourage positive working relationships.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in game design and/or production, preferably with a live service.
• Strong understanding of recent trends in live service models and their application to the current product.
• Ability to come up with and document creative ideas, and evaluate and critique existing ideas.
• Good eye for game quality and a strong advocate for the end-user experience.
