Experience Design Director - EA Sports Network

Electronic Arts is seeking an Experience Design Director to lead the design and user experience of the EA SPORTS Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the design principles, reusable experience systems, and connected fan journeys that bring together individual games into a cohesive EA SPORTS ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Experience Strategy:

• Define the long-term vision for connected EA SPORTS experiences across console, mobile, web, and companion applications.
• Develop consumer-first design principles that prioritize the fan journey.
• Create and drive long-term experience design roadmaps that support future portfolio growth and platform capabilities.

Connected Fan Experiences:

• Map and refine end-to-end fan journeys that connect multiple EA SPORTS experiences.
• Establish, govern, and evolve scalable design systems and UI/UX toolkits.
• Balance network-wide experience consistency with unique franchise identities.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

• Partner with senior directors to build a user-centered development lifecycle.
• Lead collaborative experience workshops and build alignment across teams.
• Guide design direction and build consensus through collaboration.

Experience Innovation & Data Informed Design:

• Explore and prototype next-generation interaction models.
• Leverage user research, player data, and design workflows to iterate and elevate experiences.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience leading UX, Product Design, or Experience Design for large-scale digital consumer ecosystems.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating unified, multi-platform design systems and consumer journeys.
• Experience with AI in prototyping and design concepting.
• Proven ability to balance creative strategy with operational execution and governance.
• Mastery of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern design workflows.
• Exceptional executive storytelling and presentation skills.
