Director, Product Security

CoreWeave is seeking a Director of Product Security to lead the organization. The successful candidate will own the strategy and roadmap for product security across the company, lead the managers and senior engineers, and build the capabilities needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for Product Security at CoreWeave
• Lead and grow a multi-team organization of managers and senior ICs
• Build an agentic-first vulnerability program
• Own vulnerability management end to end across CoreWeave's infrastructure and products
• Run a tiered offensive security program
• Bring offensive security to bear on tenant isolation
• Build the paved road for CoreWeave engineers
• Establish one secure development lifecycle for the whole business
• Own security for CoreWeave's AI products and for the AI tooling
• Stand up and run product vulnerability response
• Embed Product Security Partners in critical product areas
• Partner with Cloud Security, Platform Security, Detection and Response, and GRC

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in security or software engineering
• 5+ years of security leadership experience
• Proven track record of building or running a product security program
• Experience taking over existing teams and integrating them into one organization
• A track record of moving engineering leaders on architecture and roadmap decisions
• A strong bias for action
• Hands-on depth in modern application security
• Experience operating a vulnerability management program at scale
• Direct experience with offensive security
• Working knowledge of how AI systems are built and deployed
• Enough familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD to be credible with the engineers
• Experience building and mentoring diverse, inclusive, high-performing teams

The base salary range for this role is $227,000 to $303,000.
