Description

The Legal Executive / Paralegal supports the efficient delivery of legal services by managing legal operations, coordinating commercial contracting activities, supporting corporate governance and compliance initiatives, and maintaining effective legal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the review, preparation, execution, and administration of commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), vendor agreements, customer contracts, and related legal documentation to facilitate business operations and growth.
  • Manage contract lifecycle activities, including document filing, version control, execution tracking, records management, and reporting to improve operational efficiency and legal oversight.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research and prepare summaries, memos, and supporting materials to assist legal counsel in providing timely advice to business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate corporate governance and company secretarial matters, including maintaining statutory records, preparing corporate documentation, and supporting regulatory filings where required.
  • Assist with data privacy, compliance, and regulatory initiatives by organizing documentation, monitoring obligations, and supporting implementation of legal and policy requirements.
  • Review external-facing communications, marketing materials, and other business content to help ensure alignment with legal, regulatory, and brand requirements.
  • Maintain and update legal templates, knowledge resources, trackers, policies, and standard procedures to support consistency, efficiency, and risk management across the organization.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including business, product, compliance, finance, human resources, and regional legal teams, to facilitate efficient legal operations and timely resolution of legal matters.
  • Support the management of external counsel, legal vendors, invoices, and administrative processes to ensure effective utilization of legal resources and budget management.
  • Assist with special projects, strategic initiatives, and other legal matters as assigned by the legal team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience as a Legal Executive, Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar legal support professional.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting commercial contracting and legal document management in either an in-house legal department or law firm environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) to effectively support stakeholders across Hong Kong and the region.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to support legal documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
