Software Engineer II

As a Software Engineer II, you will be a full-stack engineer responsible for shipping user-facing features end to end. You will work on schema and endpoint development, write precise specifications, review pull requests, write tests, and roll out changes behind feature flags.

Responsibilities:

• Ship user-facing features end to end , schema and endpoint through to the screen, the empty state, the loading state, and the error state
• Turn a loosely worded request into a written spec precise enough that an agent or a new teammate can build from it without guessing
• Review pull requests, catch mistakes, and ensure high-quality code
• Write tests that would genuinely fail if the feature broke, and verify the change in the running product
• Work inside conventions the repository already encodes and improve them when necessary
• Roll changes out behind feature flags and monitor their impact
• Pick up whatever is in front of the team and prioritize tasks accordingly

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience building and shipping production web software
• Strong TypeScript skills, using types to catch mistakes before they reach production
• Real React depth, including component composition, state management, and testing
• Server-side experience with NestJS or a comparable framework
• Experience working in a large shared codebase and navigating unfamiliar code
• Clear written English skills for specifications, pull request descriptions, and review comments
• Comfortable with changing priorities and adapting to new tasks

Nice to have:

• Experience with Nx, Turborepo, or another monorepo toolchain
• Data-dense interfaces, such as virtualised or enterprise data grids, charting, and filter builders
• Familiarity with GCP, Kafka, BullMQ, Prisma, MongoDB, Redis, and feature flags
• Experience in go-to-market, sales technology, or B2B data as a domain
