Description
We are seeking a Principal Engineer - Audio Visual Systems with 13-20 years of experience in AV systems engineering design, installation, and testing.
Responsibilities:
- Design audio/visual systems for various spaces including boardrooms, meeting rooms, restaurants, auditoriums, and ballrooms
- Perform acoustics design, background music design, and speaker systems design with SPL, STI, and RT calculations
- Validate designs through modelling using EASE or similar software
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and acoustics specialists
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including specifications, design drawings, and operational manuals
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Requirements:
- Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering degree
- 13-20 years of experience in AV systems engineering design
- Experience with CAD, 3D Revit, Sketch-up, Rhino software
- Knowledge of smart spaces integration, hospitality sector design, and retail design
- Familiarity with converged network design, cable management, and power systems design
