Development Manager - EA Sports FC

We are seeking a Development Manager to join the EA SPORTS FC team, a global community of developers passionate about growing the love of sports through inspiring visuals and immersive experiences.

The successful candidate will oversee the project schedule, hiring, and team management to achieve high standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a development team consisting of artists, software engineers, and external partners
• Anticipating bottlenecks, providing management escalation, project prioritization, and making trade-offs
• Focusing on the immediate team, identifying team issues, and suggesting solutions related to execution goals
• Ensuring each project setup meets studio specifications with regular status reporting and capacity plan updates
• Establishing engagement processes using Jira to ensure clear workflows, documented processes, and trained staff
• Partnering with production, QV, and art directors to meet game quality targets

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of project management or project lead experience with production lifecycles, processes, and project planning
• A bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science, game development, or business
• Experience in a Scrum/Agile software development environment
• Proven track record using Jira and Jaas to manage concurrent projects
• Experience working with expansive teams, mediation, and conflict resolution
• Experience managing outsource vendors and remote teams is considered an asset

In terms of compensation, the salary range is $104,500 - $142,800 CAD per year. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation time, sick leave, and extended health/dental/vision coverage.
