Analista de Operações

About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Analyst to join our team in Sao Paulo, Brazil. As one of the first professionals hired locally, you will be part of the initial team responsible for building our operations from the ground up.

Responsibilities

Pre-insourcing operations:

• Oversee the coordination of import and export shipments by sea, air, and road, carried out by Flexport's agent in Brazil, ensuring service levels, compliance, and efficiency at all stages of the process.
• Map and structure import and export processes in Brazil, preparing the operation for insourcing activities in the short term.

Post-insourcing operations:

• Coordinate import and export shipments in Brazil with shipping companies, airlines, carriers, and other local providers, guaranteeing operational efficiency and adherence to service levels.
• Act as a focal point for Brazil-related issues, working with local, regional, and global teams, including Sales, Account Management, Trade Lane Managers, and Operations, to develop logistics solutions, resolve problems, identify improvement opportunities, and support the conquest and expansion of new businesses for Flexport.
• Serve as a focal point for local clients in Brazil, providing operational support whenever necessary.

Requirements

• Fluent English and Portuguese; Spanish will be considered a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Over 2 years of experience in cargo agency, co-loaders, or shipping companies.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in creating and improving dashboards and indicators to monitor performance.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills, especially in environments involving different areas and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in problem-solving, with the ability to analyze situations in-depth, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Entrepreneurial and proactive profile, with a history of generating results and implementing improvements and new ideas.
• Genuine interest in the team's success, with the ability to collaborate, influence, and motivate others.
• Hands-on, accessible, and result-oriented profile, with a willingness to take responsibilities and do whatever it takes to get things done.
• Strong commitment to compliance, integrity, and ethics, with a posture and behavior aligned with Flexport's values.
• Practical experience in using AI tools daily or ease and interest in learning and quickly incorporating new technologies into your work.
