Focus Interpreting is seeking an enthusiastic American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to provide exceptional interpretation services in Fresno, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and fluent ASL interpretation in diverse settings such as corporate meetings, educational sessions, medical facilities, and public events.
- Adapt interpreting style to meet client needs, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Maintain professional standards of confidentiality and integrity.
- Continuously improve language skills and stay updated with advancements in ASL and interpreting practices.
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings.
Requirements:
- Proficient in ASL with excellent English skills.
- Certification or formal education in ASL interpretation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Deaf culture and community norms.
