Description
xAI seeks an experienced BSA/AML Investigator to join the Legal & Compliance Team. The investigator will help maintain an effective BSA/AML and Sanctions compliance program for X Corp.
This is a full-time salaried position with a Saturday–Wednesday schedule. Remote work is permitted on Saturdays and Sundays; in-office attendance is required Monday through Wednesday.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve complex alerts and cases from transaction monitoring systems.
- Prepare, review, and recommend filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
- Assist with KYC and onboarding matters.
- Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high-risk users and transactions.
- Assist in tuning and optimizing transaction monitoring rules.
- Mentor junior team members on investigation techniques and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams on compliance-related initiatives.
- Maintain expertise in evolving BSA/AML/OFAC regulations.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in AML, ideally in fintech or banking.
- Familiarity with financial crime risks specific to digital payments.
- Proven experience preparing and filing SARs.
- In-depth knowledge of BSA/AML laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational changes and collaborate effectively.
- Strong analytical mindset and excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Quick learner with adaptability to evolving technologies and regulations.
- AML-related certifications (e.g., CAMS, CGSS) are preferred.
- Ability to commit to the Saturday–Wednesday full-time work schedule.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $120,000 - $145,000 USD
