Senior Software Engineer - SSC

The Senior Software Engineer will join the self-service cloud growth team, focusing on human user onboarding and agents onboarding, directly influencing Elastic Cloud's growth.

Responsibilities

• Working as a full stack engineer, contributing to the backend and frontend of the product onboarding and trial experience.
• Designing and implementing new scalable features and APIs.
• Collaborating with PMs and designers to plan and design features.
• Implementing agentic interfaces for onboarding and trial experiences.
• Integrating cloud and Kibana onboarding flows with Elastic solution teams.
• Designing and implementing data evolution strategies to manage schema changes.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js server frameworks like Hapi and Next.js.
• Front-end tech like HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and async programming.
• Knowledge of Git and other code collaboration tools.
• Experience deploying and operationalizing software in production.
• Ability to plan, design, implement, and lead projects independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, such as DynamoDB and Elasticsearch.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of state management libraries like NgRx.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Java.
