Description
We are seeking a Product Engineer to provide engineering resolutions to product and manufacturing issues. You will lead and handle projects at HP partner sites in Johor Bahru, implement a strong Product Quality System, and drive Product Qualification and Change Management processes.
As a Product Engineer at HP, you will:
- Provide resolution and implement engineering solutions to product and manufacturing issues
- Engage with R&D and Product Development to enable New Product Introductions and Extensions
- Identify risks early in the program and determine test methods to characterize the product
- Characterize the product to ensure understanding of risks and what it takes to address them
- Drive Product Qualification processes and implement a strong Product Quality System
- Own the form, fit, and function of HP Printhead and drive Change Management
- Engage and drive solutions across HP value chains to improve Manufacturing Line Productivity, Yield, and Quality
- Conceptualize, develop, and deliver solutions to simplify processes and deliver cost reduction
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Material Engineering
- Typically 4-7 years of work experience
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, methodologies, and environment
- Strong leadership and organization skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Good understanding of Quality Assurance and Process Control Knowledge
- Excellent team player, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Able to work well under stress
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
