Description

We are seeking a talented Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN. The successful candidate will perform skilled maintenance activities to support manufacturing business needs, ensuring a safe working environment and high-quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Reporting: Report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards to comply with HSE standards.

  • Quality Craftsmanship: Perform tasks to the highest quality standards.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system and perform quality inspections.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities and problem-solving.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with your team and support teams.
  • Training and Development: Engage in HSE training and complete personal development activities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
  • Expert knowledge of CNC machine geometry, precision alignment, leveling, spindle alignment, ball bar analysis, and laser calibration techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret machine mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, P&ID, and electrical diagrams.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and repair of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, and forging equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits, proportional valves, pumps, pneumatic controls, centralized lubrication systems, and fault diagnosis.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing CNC control systems, servo drives, motors, PLC I/O, sensors, encoders, and industrial communication networks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Fanuc Robot and gas furnaces related issues.

Hourly Rate: $26.50 - $30.68/hr
