Description
As a Quality Engineer for the welding portfolio at 3M Sweden, Gagnef plant, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
You will make an impact by:
- Driving and participating in improvement activities within production and manufacturing processes
- Participating in meetings and forums for continuous improvement within the departments
- Working to improve yield, increase stability, and enhance process capability
- Performing and facilitating root cause analyses related to quality deviations and process issues
- Ensuring that quality issues are documented, analysed, and closed according to applicable processes
- Contributing to the creation, updating, and compliance of quality documentation
- Providing support to production, engineering, and other functions on quality related matters
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:
- Technical education (e.g., quality, production, or mechanical engineering) or experience in quality work within production or manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of root cause investigations and problem-solving methods
- Good knowledge of statistical methods and quality tools
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
