Senior Financial Analyst - Operational

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you'll be at the heart of the commercial performance of Biffa's Southern Region, partnering closely with operational leaders to turn financial insight into action.

Your core responsibilities:

• Partner with senior leaders to provide commercial finance support and insight.
• Drive planning and investment by leading robust budgets, forecasts, and investment appraisals.
• Deliver timely management accounts, reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis.
• Build strong relationships with Regional Fleet Engineers and Workshop Managers through regular site visits.
• Undertake operational benchmarking and regular performance reviews.
• Ensure robust financial controls, delegated authorities, and balance sheet processes are maintained.

Essential requirements:

• Qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent).
• Strong management accounting experience.
• Commercially minded and confident working with operational teams.
• Advanced Excel and strong systems skills.
• Analytical and proactive, with a strong eye for detail.
