We are seeking a Management Trainee to join our Strategic Development Department. As a key member of our team, you will play an important part in shaping the future of our organisation.

About the Role

The role is titled Strategic Planning and Project Management Management Trainee. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic research and insight support
  • Macro and industry monitoring: assist in collecting and analysing macroeconomic data and regulatory policies
  • Competitor analysis: regularly track major competitors' strategic moves, product innovations, and market performance, and write basic analysis reports
  • Special topic research support: under the guidance of the department head, conduct in-depth literature retrieval, data cleaning, and preliminary viewpoint refinement
  • Operational performance tracking and data analysis
  • KPI data monitoring: assist in establishing and maintaining the company's operating indicator database, regularly collecting monthly/quarterly operating data from various business lines, and making dashboards to intuitively display KPI achievement
  • Deviation analysis support: compare actual performance with strategic goals, assist in identifying key deviation areas, and organise basic data for in-depth attribution analysis
  • Data platform maintenance: participate in the daily maintenance of the operating data platform and demand sorting, optimise data extraction logic, and improve data accuracy and timeliness
  • Strategic project group management and agile support
  • Project progress tracking: assist in tracking the implementation progress of the company's key strategic projects (SI), collect weekly/monthly reports from each project group, update the project status red light table, and warn of potential delay risks
  • Agile practice promotion: assist in organising internal agile workshops, promote agile work methodologies, record agile team iteration review meeting contents, and promote cross-departmental collaboration efficiency improvement
  • Document management: be responsible for the full-life cycle document archiving of the strategic project group, ensuring that feasibility reports, approval documents, final reports, and other materials are traceable
  • ESG and investor relations assistance
  • ESG data collection: assist in collecting key performance data on environmental, social, and governance aspects of the company, and support the preparation of annual ESG report materials
  • IR material preparation: assist in communicating with the investor relations department of AIA Group, collate basic financial and non-financial disclosure data, and support the update of investor Q&A library

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a related field such as mathematics, statistics, finance, or actuarial science
  • Alignment with AIA's cultural values: humble, down-to-earth, and having a win-win mindset
  • Excellent English skills: fluent in listening, speaking, reading, and writing
  • Strong goal planning ability, adaptability, learning innovation ability, resilience, and internal drive
  • Ability to accept remote and cross-departmental rotation work
