Priory Hospital Avesbury House has an opportunity for a Director of Clinical Services to join their team. Avesbury House, Edmonton, North London is a forensic low secure facility for men with mental health needs requiring continuing care and treatment.
The Director of Clinical Services will be part of a compassionate team that is committed to supporting people's wellbeing. They will provide strong clinical leadership across nursing and therapy services, ensuring patients receive the highest standards of care and support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing overall responsibility for the safe, effective and high-quality delivery of clinical services
- Promoting a positive, patient-centred culture and driving continuous improvement
- Supporting clinical teams to deliver the best possible outcomes and experience for patients
- Managing clinical budgets and resources effectively
- Leading, implementing and reviewing quality improvement initiatives
Essential skills and knowledge include:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or Health and Care Professions Council
- Experience working at a supervisory or managerial level within a relevant clinical setting
- At least 2 years experience working as a Ward Manager or equivalent
- Experience of managing clinical budgets and resources effectively
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
