Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in making it easier for customers to access medications. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions, maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy environment, and ensuring accurate medication packaging and shipping.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in filling prescription items
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment
• Ensure accurate medication packaging and shipping
• Operate automated machinery for pre-sorting and packaging medications
• Fill exception trays with medications
• Transition orders through workflow stages
• Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels
• Pack and ship completed orders
• Sort and triage boxes for shipping
• Aid pharmacy managers and pharmacists with tasks
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas

Physical requirements:

• Standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and stretching
• Lifting and moving products up to 49 lbs
• Manual dexterity of hands and wrists

Qualifications:

• Active unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of employment
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based tools
• Effective communication skills
