Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Maintenance Engineer with an electrical focus to support and lead maintenance operations within a high-performance manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for a certified electrician with strong industrial experience and working knowledge of HVAC systems who is ready to take on a leadership role.
You will play a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and operational uptime across both production equipment and facility systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians and electricians
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including 3-phase power, motors, VFDs, and control panels
- Maintain and improve critical production equipment such as mixers, dosing systems, cure systems, and inspection equipment
- Support facility systems, including electrical distribution and HVAC
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance and drive reliability improvements
- Lead root cause analysis to reduce downtime and improve system performance
- Ensure compliance with LOTO, OSHA, and NFPA 70E safety standards
- Support equipment installation, upgrades, and commissioning projects
- Work closely with operations and engineering teams to prioritise and execute work
- Utilise CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance tracking
Required Qualifications:
- Certified Electrician (Journeyman or Master Electrician preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
- Strong hands-on experience with 3-phase electrical systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting
- Proven ability to lead or mentor others in a maintenance environment
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and LOTO procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- HVAC certification or hands-on HVAC experience
- Experience in high-safety or regulated environments
- Experience with VFDs, instrumentation, and automation systems
US Salary Range $59,000-$78,000 USD. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
