Production Associate - Level I

We are seeking a talented Production Associate to join our specialised team in DCM at Cummins in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

In this role, you will have an impact by operating manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to meet customer expectations. You will also work towards achieving production targets, maintain a clean and organised workspace, and participate in various tasks to ensure smooth operations.

To succeed in this position, you will need to collaborate with others, communicate effectively, focus on customer needs, and demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and self-development.

Responsibilities:

• Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products
• Achieve production targets
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with colleagues and support teams
• Communicate effectively with assigned teams and support teams
• Complete training and personal development as required
• Participate in improving quality, safety, processes, and employee development

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of experience in an industrial area
• Mechanical measurement tools (e.g., Indicator de Caratula, Go-No Go, Vernier, Calibradores)
• Experience with machining centres (lathe, milling machine)
• Experience with hydraulic drills and guns
• Proactive and safety-focused
