Description
The Sloane Hospital in Kent, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Porter to join their team on a bank shift basis. You will work on an 'as and when required' basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff during annual leave or absence. The role involves 12-hour shifts, both day and night.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake various tasks such as patient, equipment, and goods movement.
- Explain hospital facilities and services to patients and family members.
- Provide a courteous service to internal and external customers.
- Ensure patient comfort and dignity are maintained.
- Provide security for the facility as required.
- Comply with all relevant mandatory training.
Requirements:
- Frontline customer-facing experience.
- Previous portering experience in a healthcare, hotel, or hospitality setting is beneficial.
- Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2.
- Proficiency in using a PC, including software and systems.
