Senior Component Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Component Engineer to lead cross-functional teams throughout the end-to-end development, validation, and release of assigned battery system components.

You will be responsible for meeting component requirements and ensuring the achievement of technical, quality, cost, timing, and performance targets while resolving trade-offs and conflicts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading SE teams and serving as the primary technical interface between internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers
• Developing, maintaining, and driving the execution of component development plans
• Monitoring project progress, risks, deliverables, and resource allocation
• Managing customer claims and technical issues related to assigned components
• Ensuring product quality through appropriate tools and methodologies
• Providing technical leadership to assigned component teams and supporting the coordination of multidisciplinary engineering activities

Requirements:

• Degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Electromechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• Professional experience in automotive series development processes and sound knowledge of APQP
• Good understanding of series production requirements and industrialization processes
• Proven competence and experience in project management
• Experience in taking responsibility for systems, modules, or components
• Business-fluent in English and French
• Excellent communication, presentation, and moderation skills
