Description
We are seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repair of electrical and EV Charging equipment across the Scottish Region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the General Manager, including fault finding, testing, repairing, and preventative maintenance of electrical building services and EV charging equipment
- Updating completed PPM tasks on a computerized maintenance system
- Ensuring engineering standards are maintained to maximize operational effectiveness and reliability
- Adhering to company QA and site procedures
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
- Inspecting the condition of services and dealing with call-outs and repairs as required
- Attending site emergencies outside of normal working hours
- Working at heights using platforms and ladders, with all access and PPE provided
- Keeping company-issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner
- Proactively contributing to the continued success and support of the contract
- Complying with ABM's health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Completing other associated tasks requested by management
The ideal candidate will have:
- City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Test & Inspection
- City & Guilds 2382 18th or 19th Edition IEE
- A demonstrable knowledge of building services engineering
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A logical approach to fault finding
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
