Lead/Senior Game Visual UI Designer

Electronic Arts is seeking a Lead/Senior Game Visual UI Designer to redefine and elevate the visual identity of their game. The ideal candidate will be responsible for auditing the current game interface, reimagining its look and feel, and establishing a bold, modern visual language that meets global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough audit of the current in-game interface and define a comprehensive visual makeover strategy.
• Establish a fresh, world-class aesthetic that gives the game a distinct, recognizable identity.
• Craft the master visual style guide, including color theory, thematic typography, custom iconography suites, graphic treatments, and HUD art direction.
• Design high-impact screen transitions, tactile button feedback, celebration sequences, and micro-interactions.
• Build breathtaking concept art, vertical-slice mockups, and interactive visual prototypes.
• Ensure the UI aesthetic integrates seamlessly with 3D game environments, lighting, and character art.
• Act as the aesthetic authority for UI across the studio, partnering with Technical UI Artists and Engineers.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional experience shaping the visual UI identity of successful commercial games.
• A standout portfolio demonstrating extraordinary visual taste, master-level composition, modern typography, iconography, color mastery, and motion design in games.
• Proven track record of conceptualizing, pitching, and executing a distinct visual style from scratch or leading a major visual overhaul.
• Deep understanding of global gaming aesthetic trends.
• Mastery of modern design and motion tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, After Effects.
• Familiarity with real-time engine rendering pipelines (Unreal or Unity).
