Construction Manager, Power Generation - Memphis

SpaceXAI seeks an experienced Construction Manager for on-site power generation build efforts. As a key leader, you'll manage site relationships, collaborate with teams, and report to construction leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Act as senior construction representative for the power generation plant
• Oversee end-to-end project execution
• Coordinate multiple vendors across various scopes
• Identify and mitigate risks to schedule, quality, safety, and operational readiness
• Drive progress on generation and BOP construction
• Align construction schedules with SpaceXAI's goals
• Partner with engineering and operations for commissioning and start-up
• Deliver regular updates using KPIs and dashboards
• Ensure the project meets technical and quality standards
• Perform quantity take-offs and field verifications
• Manage change orders and control costs
• Lead site safety initiatives
• Adapt to evolving plant needs

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in managing large-scale power generation or industrial plant construction projects
• Deep expertise in construction management, commissioning, and site operations
• Proven ability to lead on-site with authority and build trust
• Experience managing large programs with multiple vendors
• Strong communication skills
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Direct experience constructing or expanding gas turbine generating plants
• Experience with medium-voltage electrical construction and mechanical/process BOP
• OEM turbine package installation and commissioning support
• Previous experience on power plants serving data centers
• Familiarity with local building codes, utility interconnection, and plant permitting
