Description
The FX Advisor role involves providing expert advice to high-net-worth clients on foreign exchange strategies, working closely with Relationship Managers to service client needs. You will leverage the Deutsche Bank Wealth Management Chief Investment Office's insights and global investment committees to advise on long-term thematic investment opportunities and short-term tactical trades, focusing solely on the Foreign Exchange portion of clients' portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized FX advice to clients, including hedging, currency diversification, and risk management.
- Identify and mitigate currency-related risks, advising on suitable hedging instruments and strategies.
- Monitor global currency markets, economic trends, and geopolitical events to deliver actionable insights.
- Execute FX transactions, ensuring competitive pricing and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to integrate FX strategies into clients' broader investment plans.
- Ensure all FX activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare presentations on FX markets and strategies to enhance the broader banking teams' and clients' understanding.
Requirements:
- Superior investment acumen with a strong understanding of various asset classes.
- Excellent analytical and detail-oriented skills.
- At least 8-10 years of relevant product experience.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
- Professional integrity and ability to work with teams across different locations.
- CFA, MBA in Finance, or other advanced degree.
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools effectively.
