Supply Planning Coordinator - Level II - SHOP

As a Supply Planning Coordinator - Level II - SHOP at Cummins Inc., you will play a crucial role in determining the quantity and order date for materials needed to meet the master production schedule or independent customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE): Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard, and comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Quality: Perform quality checks on material planning master data, take action to support Plan for Every Part (PFEP), and work with Quality to disposition non-conforming material.
• Delivery: Initiate purchase and work orders to support the demand plan, participate in allocation calls with Sourcing Manager, supplier, and other Cummins entities, and collaborate with Supply Chain Planners.
• Teamwork: Communicate effectively within the assigned team and with all support teams, complete training and personal development, and participate in improvement projects.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
• Experience in procurement of MS commodity parts from various suppliers, following up with suppliers for weekly material receipt, creating releases for domestic parts, managing exceptions, coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams, and escalating issues.
